St. Paddy's Day

For St. Paddy's Day Tom whipped up some corn beef and potatoes. Aiden had a shamrock shake treat as well!

Spring Break - Cancun Mexico

We got away for a little spring break in Cancun this month. It was a much needed break from the snow, cold and daily routine.  We enjoyed the pool, ocean, sand and some downtime. It was great to visit for the week with Tom's parents and sister. We also had a great date night just the two of us! Happy hour drinks by the ocean were alot of fun - even Aiden liked sharing Lindsay's banana monkey drink!

Aiden enjoyed being in the kids pool (2ft) by himself walking and splashing around with little help from us and running in the ocean waves. He liked throwing sand and digging - mainly smashing anything Tom built.  At the kids activities center we did face painting - a family of lions - Aiden enjoyed growling like a lion! He also participated in a pinata party and worked on his Spanish (hola).

It was a nice break as spring approaches and we are in the home stretch till the second baby's arrival the end of May.

Hustle Up the Hancock

Last Sunday (27th) Tom completed the Hustle up the Hancock stair climb early in the morning. He insures the Repiratory Health Association who sponsors the event and this is his second year doing the climb. He started at 7am and it took him a mere 19:24 minutes to climb the 94 floors to the top. Aiden and Lindsay were waiting at the top for him - and they enjoyed the early morning sunrise and photos wtih dada when he was done. Hopefully next year Lindsay will join him!

February Happenings

The month of February went by fast but we wanted to share a few photos. For Valentine's day we were able to have a romantic dinner date (without Aiden) which was a nice break.

Aiden is talking more and more, some common words are doggie, mama, baby, dada, hello, bravo and gump (for grandpa/grandma). He is starting to eat with a spoon (though messy), brushes his teeth, and frequently uses the word "no". Some of his favorite things to do include sitting in the laundry basket, working with screwdrivers/nails/hammers, and reading (quite the bookworm). Everyday he amazes us with what he is learning. He also is aware of the baby in Lindsay's tummy... and loves to kiss it frequently.
