Announcing our New Arrival - May 2011

We are blessed and thrilled to announce we are expecting our second child in May of 2011. The due date is May 30th so just around Memorial Day. Lindsay is doing great, Aiden does not know what is going on, and Tom is contemplating two kids in college at the same time:) Just wanted to share the news and share one of our first pictures of the new addition. We are going to wait to find out the sex....we do like surprises!



Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving this year, we celebrated twice! We went to Binghamton, NY for 3 days to celebrate with Tom's family. Traveling was smooth and we had a wonderful time seeing family we had not seen in a while! Then we had a second Thanksgiving with Lindsay's family. It was great to see everyone and have a second helping. We made our traditional homemade apple pie together which we always like to do. Next year we are putting Aiden to work to help!

November Adventures

Aiden has been very active these days, running and exploring. A trip to the grocery store is a challenge since he wants to push the cart and explore - he keeps us on our toes!

 

He has a new dog named Henry which he loves to hug. He drags it around and its a little bigger than he is!  The dog is named after one of his favorite books. This is Lindsay's favorite kind of dog!

At bedtime he enjoys giving us a run for our money with pajama time - he likes to be chased around, play with boxes and spoons.  



Halloween

For Halloween this year Tom and I got into the spirit and dressed up. We went as Fred and Wilma Flintstone and really had fun. Aiden was a monkey and enjoyed going door to door for candy. By the end we think he got the hang of it, picking one and putting it in his bucket.

1 Year Photos

Fall Fun & Pumpkin Picking

We wanted to share from photos from the past month. For his 1st birthday we got him a wagon so we have been working on wagon rides, he normally lasts 10 mins then wants to push the wagon himself...hopefully soon he will last around the block! He also has been playing with alot of new birthday toys - a starter big wheel and a climbing tunnel.

We went pumpkin picking with our friends the Groulx's and had a fun time. We took a hayride out to the field, picked a couple pumpkins and headed back. The kids had a great time and it was warm! He found his pumpkin and again liked pushing the wagon and sitting on the tractor.

Aiden's 1st Birthday Party

We had a birthday party for Aiden on Saturday Oct 2nd for his 1st birthday. It was great to share with family and friends. Aiden had an elmo cake and devoured the entire 4" cake himself! Here are some photos from the big day!

We also went to Dave's Italian Kitchen with Tom's family the night before to celebrate with some traditional chocolate moouse! He is playing with his new firetruck too!

Waving

Aiden has a unique wave, its kinda near his mouth and makes rare appearances!

Football Season

We (I mean Tom) is getting ready for football season the real and fantasy:) Aiden is also ready to root for the Bears! He also has some Illini gear for Lindsay's school too.
