Daddy and Me!

Tom has been spending alot of time with Aiden and he is becoming quite the daddy's little man. Tom is rocking the "baby bjorn" and Aiden is napping! Aiden is also talking more and more.

Aiden has been busy this past week growing and staying active sitting up more,
we just wanted to share a few more photos.

Standing on Hands!

Its a Randy House tradition to get babies to stand in his hands far before they learn to stand actually and walk. Aiden has been in "boot camp" training with Grandpa House and it looks like he is a quick learner and enjoys it!

Ocassionally we'll give Aiden a bath and clean him up.
We put him in a soccer ball tie for church last Sunday.

IKEA or Bust!

Many of you know that a trip to IKEA is a whole day adventure. We ventured off to the store a few weekends ago and spent about 4 hours there. Our time was spent checking out entertainment centers and office furniture while we bounced Aiden in the "baby bjorn", completed two feedings and ended with some ice-cream cones (much deserved). He did pretty well and helped Tom with the boxes!

Another Snowy Day

Today it snowed another 6+ inches and its cold. We are getting pretty good at shoveling the driveway these days. Aiden is rolling over from his stomach to back pretty regularly now and babbles alot. Here is a new video of him in action rolling. We also gave him a mustache during his bath.

Aiden's Baptism

Aiden was baptised on Sunday, December 27th at First Presbyterian Church in Libertyville, IL. We were glad to share the day with family that were able to make it! Aiden didn't quite make it through the entire service, he took a nap on the pew.

Snow Day!

The weekend of Christmas was had a great snowfall - about 6 inches. We enjoyed playing in the snow in our back yard with our family and taking Aiden out to make a baby snow angel too!

Christmas

This year for Christmas we stayed in Gurnee, IL. Tom's family was able to come visit and stay with us for a week while Lindsay's sister, Jenny was also able to fly to Gurnee to spend Christmas with the family. It was a wonderful first Christmas for Aiden and great to share with all our families.

One of Aiden's favorite gifts was his glow worm. He is also sitting up more in his bumbo chair. He has started smiling more and more!

Starting to Move

Aiden has been working on his "tummy time" and recently starting rolling over from his stomach to his back after much fustration:) Each time he gets stronger even though it is not his favorite thing to do. Just wanted to share a video of him in action!

Happy New Year!

Happy 2010 New Year! We had a fantastic 2009 and are looking forward to a great 2010! As you may have seen, we slacked off on the blog right around when Aiden was born...but this year we plan on keeping it more up to date. We'd like to make sure those family and friends far away can stay in touch and see what we are up to, as well as how Aiden is growing with photos and more videos.
