Birthday Weekend

For our birthdays this year we had a fun weekend. For Lindsay's birthday we went to Dave's Italian Kitchen for dinner, a family favorite and Claire's first time there. For Tom's birthday we went downtown for the day. We had pizza at Dags (one of his favorites) and went to a Cubs game - Aiden and Claire's first. It was a very hot day (90+) but Aiden did very well and liked seeing everything. It was also special because we got Tom's name on the scoreboard!

Staying Busy in July

The 4th of July holiday weekend we spent at home this year. It was a hot weekend so we got our the kiddie pool - which Tom enjoyed! We went to our neighbors BBQ and had Lindsay's sister Jenny in town. Jenny is expecting a baby GIRL in December - CONGRATULATIONS!! Lindsay has been enjoying time at home, taking the kids and dogs to the park and spending time with friends. We had a summer storm that up-rooted a tree and made us lose power for 24+ hours which was tough but we made it!

June Happenings

Looks like the month of June just flew by but wanted to share some highlights. We had Tom's parents in town to see Claire - it was great having them and Aiden loved playing with them. While they were in town we did a boat ride on Lake Michigan which was alot of fun. We stayed busying making brownies, taking care of Claire, enjoying the weather, Father's Day and meeting Great-Grandma Cummings for the first time!
