Wee - Ride

We got a bike seat for Aiden and now we can go for bike rides all together. Its called a Wee-ride, so we joke, this is how "wee- ride"...like most things, Aiden loves it. There is a video in action.

Tom's Birthday

For Tom's birthday, Linds and Aiden visited his office. We also went to dinner at Tom's favorite restaurant, Dave's Italian Kitchen, and had a Reece's ice-cream cake at home!

Crawling @ 9 months!

Its official, Aiden is crawling! After about two months of crawling backwards he is going forward. On Lindsay's birthday we saw this for the first time - what a great surprise. We are very proud!

We think Grandpa House's bootcamp...helped move him along too!

Beans!

Had to share, one of Aiden's favorite foods is beans...loves them and makes some happy noises when he eats them.

Lindsay's 30th Birthday

For the big 3-0, Tom surprised Lindsay with a boat trip on Lake Michigan with her girlfriends and dinner at one of her favorite restaurants downtown. Lindsay woke up not knowing what was in store for the day!

Tom wore his Espana shirt to cheer on Spain win the world cup that day too!! He was very proud! A special thanks to Tom's Aunt Holly and Dave for sharing their boat and day with us! It was a great surprise and one we'll remember for sure!!

4th of July

We stayed in town for 4th of July this year. We went to the park district water park which was alot of fun. The water park was a first for Tom and I but Aiden is a regular, thanks to Grandpa House! Aiden was dressed in his patriotic colors and celebrated but did not light any sparklers, rest assured:)

Summertime

This summer has been alot fun. Aiden has moved into some "big boy" pajamas, enjoyed his baths with Tom and being silly. He also is wearing a hand-me-down superman shirt. That is the same shirt Tom wore as a little boy - it is very special and we are glad his mom kept it! He also got in his two bottom teeth and is crawling!

First Father's Day Weekend

Tom's first fathers day was alot of fun. The weekend started off with going to the Libertyville Days Parade - Aiden's first parade. Then we went to Ravinia that evening to see Buddy Guy.

Sunday we had a BBQ and family over. We were very lucky to celebrate with Tom's dad and Lindsay's. Aiden was busy making Tom a special shirt!

Blackhawks Win Stanley Cup!

Chicago had Blackhawks fever in June; it was everywhere! We took a photo of the Sears Tower (now Willis Tower). And wanted to capture the celebration win on TV with Aiden so he'll remember the year he was born, Chicago won! Now if only the Cubs can do the same....

3rd Wedding Anniversary

We took time to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary in June; three years flies by. Our tradition has been to go to the Schoolyard Tavern (where we first met and Tom proposed) and have a glass of champagne to celebrate. We try to fit in a trip to Union Pier, Michigan too at a bed and breakfast. This year we went towards the end of June and brought Aiden too. We had a great time playing in Lake Michigan. We didn't mind sharing our romantic weekend with him:)
